    Being a parent is an amazing blessing. My desire is to capture the anticipation of your new baby, the beauty of your newborn, the spirit of your baby, and the love between families.

Photographing a Photographer ~ Milwaukee family photographer

One of my local photographer friends is Sylvia Laughrin from Sylvia Laughrin Photography. We met when she photographed my twins when they were 9 months old – about 6 months before I ever began studying photography. She’s been a wonderful help as I’ve worked through learning the business of being a photographer. I had the joy of meeting her beautiful and kind family and photographing them recently. Let me tell you the truth… it’s kinda stressful photographing another photographer! LOL
As any mother – and especially a photographer/mother – knows, you’re NEVER in your own family pictures.:)Thankfully, now her and I both have pictures of our families which include our entire families!
I also loved the connection between her and her husband. You can tell they really love each other. I really love how their couple-pictures turned out!
